Boutique Hotel Launches Mindful Meetings

Hotel offers healthy day delegate option to combat attendee concentration

The Bingham Hotel in Richmond-upon-Thames launches a 'Mindful Meeting' day delegate offering as a healthy response to combat potential attendee fatigue and concentration levels while at meetings onsite by serving carefully selected food throughout the day.

With 3 event spaces the 15-bed independent hotel can accommodate up to 150 people for events and it available for exclusive hire. Each area has their own terrace area as well as use of the garden for summer meetings or luncheons. The Bingham is known for its modern British food and in the new conference offering serves lunch in exquisite Bento boxes with delegates wellbeing in mind sharing nuts, dried fruit and seeds at break times, although less healthy options are still available by request.

Erick Kervaon, General Manager of the Bingham commented “We created Mindful Meetings because we wanted to create something different, something that isn't your normal conference offering. We've all been to conferences where we eat too many pastries in the morning break and there's the post lunch lull of far too many carbohydrates. Erick goes on to say “Everything you eat at a meeting will affect concentration and levels of fatigue. Drinking lemon water instead of coffee all day has been proven to rehydrate your brain therefore allows you to concentrate and enjoy your day more.”

The Mindful Meetings day delegate rate is £55 plus VAT per person which includes unlimited hot beverages, Bento box lunch, healthy morning and afternoon snacks, meeting room hire and all AV and WiFi requirements.
