Avoid Disappointment. Make sure you have your Electronic Travel Authority to Travel to Canada this summer
Travellers to Canada who may have booked flight only to travel this summer should be aware that as of November 2016, all British travellers arriving by air are required to have applied for and received an Electronic Travel Authority.
Required by Canadian Immigration Authorities the Electronic Travel Authority costs just $7.00 and is valid for 5 years. Application and purchase is done on line through : www.cic.gc.ca/english/visit/eta.asp
Do note that any site charging more than $7.00 is not the official government site.
With the peak travel months approaching you are advised to check you have your ETA in place as failure to do so could mean not being able to board your plane
For more information about the ETA please go to www.cic.gc.ca
