Discover the World, the UK�s leading operator to Iceland, is pleased to announce that construction has started on the enlargement and re-design of one of Iceland�s most famous attractions, the BLUE LAGOON - Geothermal Spa. Undergoing changes are the bathing and shower areas, with the actual lagoon expanding by 50% in size, whilst the restaurant area will be redesigned to offer a greater variety of dining options. A new restaurant area is also planned � to be built into the lava cliff itself � and will accommodate another 250 guests for private functions. Finally, the spa�s shop, carrying the BLUE LAGOON�s own skin care products is also in for an enlargement. Combined, the changes (to be completed by Spring 2007) are sure to enhance what is already a unique experience!
