Today, Minister for Trade, Tourism and Major Events, and Minister for Sport, The Hon. Stuart Ayres, MP presented international elite marathon runners, Blackmores Sydney Running Festival Ambassador Jesinta Campbelland Can Too Fundraiser Melinda Gainsford-Taylor with their race bibs ahead of the Blackmores Sydney Running Festival.

Up to 34,000 runners are expected to take part in the Blackmores Sydney Running Festival including the Blackmores Marathon, Blackmores Half Marathon, Blackmores Bridge Run (9km) and Medibank Family Fun Run (3.5km) on Sunday 20 September, running and walking over the Sydney Harbour Bridge traffic free and taking in Sydney's spectacular sights.

The NSW Government, through its tourism and major events agency, Destination NSW, is a supporter of the Blackmore's Running Festival including live-to-air broadcasts of the Festival's signature race, the Sydney Marathon, in key international markets in Asia.
