Big Properties For Big Families Or Groups Of Friends

Coastal Cottages of Pembrokeshire

Coastal Cottages of Pembrokeshire is highlighting its selection of large properties - ideal for a couple of families or groups of friends planning a spring or summer getaway together.

These include The Pantry, a large Victorian House - full of character - in the upmarket little seaside town of Newport. The property, which sleeps 10, is just yards from small independent shops - butchers, bakers and greengrocers - along with pubs and restaurants.  Local attractions include Parrog beach, sailing, boating and fishing in Newport Bay, walking the Coastal Path and a round on Newport's golf course.

The house, which is set in pretty terraced gardens, has five bedrooms (two ensuite), a spacious sitting room with games area, a large kitchen/diner, shower room and wet room. Seven nights in May costs from £690, rising to £1459 in peak season.

With stunning, uninterrupted sea views in Freshwater East, is Nantucket, a magnificent property sleeping 10 and just a short walk from a sandy beach. This stylish property has a first floor open plan living area - with sliding doors leading onto a balcony to maximise the glorious views - and three of the bedrooms on the ground floor lead to a decked terrace and landscaped garden. A week's holiday in May costs from £929, increasing to £2022 in July and August.

Lordship Farmhouse (sleeping 10) is set in the heart of the Pembrokeshire countryside, just outside the village of Wolfs Castle. The property has loads of character - including a large inglenook fireplace - and is just a 15-minute drive from the beaches at Newgale, St Brides and Broad Haven. The area is great for walking and cycling and just 50 yards from the property there is a trout stream.  Guests can also enjoy a taster session at the Wolf Castle Pottery. A week in May costs from £636, rising to £1299 in peak season.
