Join travel editors Cathy Adams of the The Independent, Sophie Lam at the i, Lucy Thackray, former commissioning editor at Sunday Times Travel Magazine and BA High Life, and Laura Jackson, editor of LOVEexploring.com and LOVEfood.com as they discuss the art of a good pitch with BGTW events director Meera Dattani.
Aimed at travel journalists/writers, we'll talk about how to improve or refresh your pitching technique, how to get your pitches noticed, why your email doesn't always get a reply, plus anything else freelancers always want to ask travel editors. We welcome questions in advance, and during the debate, the chat box and Q&A will be open too. The event is free for BGTW members and £6 for non-members.
