Hotel du Vin is pleased to announce a masterpiece literary partnership with publishing giant, Random House. Launching this month, the collaboration will include a series of writers’ courses hosted by top authors, local events and a book of the month club.

The writing courses, collectively known as The Writers’ Academy, will begin this September at Hotel du Vin Harrogate, with an Introduction to Crime Writing. Hosted by lecturer, playwright and author Henry Sutton (University of East Anglia) and acclaimed bestseller, S J Watson (Before I Go To Sleep) this course is ideal for budding novelists and tickets are available now. This course is the first in a series which will cover a number of different genres as diverse as writing for children and Hammer Horror, each held in a different Hotel du Vin around the country.

As well as the workshops, Hotel du Vin will showcase selected books of the month for guests to purchase at a discounted rate. Plans are also in place for book tours, author events and more writing courses in 2014.
