The elation and surprise was obvious to the thousands in the room and a triumphant "You little beauty!!!" bellowed out from owner Mark Norek, at last Friday night's Australian Tourism Awards. Life's An Adventure had just won the award for the 'Best Adventure Tour company in Australia' an accolade they thought was unreachable.

6 years ago this couple were experiencing tough times and the arrival of their first child ,when they stumbled across an opportunity in the Tourism Industry within the Blue Mountains. Within such a short space of time, they have managed to expand and grow to now offer an incredible 23 day and overnight tours across the Blue Mountains, Sydney and Tasmania. From kayaking on Sydney Harbour, four wheel driving through the Blue Mountains to hiking the Bay of Fires in Tasmania, their range of adventure experiences is broad and varied.

Owners Mark and Vicki Norek said "it was hard to put into words how important this award is for our company. It takes us to a whole new level.
