Marcello Tully's New Collection of Cookery Workshops & Bespoke Cookery Classes
Ever wished you could peek behind the doors of a top-flight professional kitchen and see some of the Michelin magic? Hosted by Michelin starred chef, Marcello Tully, Kinloch Lodge's new collection of cookery workshops and classes is unique, and let you do just that.
The Kinloch Cookery Collection includes hands-on Cookery Workshops where guests prepare dishes for that day's menu, alongside the brigade in the professional kitchen and Bespoke Cookery Classes that allow participants to set the agenda – whether they want to create a winning dinner party menu, learn how to deal with fish and shellfish, brush-up on their butchery skills or bake the best bread and pastry.
There's lots of tastings and chat while Marcello guides and shares tips from his enviable thirty-year culinary career including skills garnered while working with chef royalty, the Roux brothers.

For guests curious about how a Michelin starred kitchen works, Marcello opens up the tricks of the trade in this unique three and half hour workshop, bookended by breakfast and lunch in the dining room.
Listen in on Marcello's morning meeting, briefing and planning with the senior chefs before rolling up your sleeves and working with Marcello in the professional kitchen, alongside the brigade.
Guests are introduced to the skills and then assist Marcello with preparation of canapes, sauces, soups and other dishes from that day's menu.
By lunchtime, participants will have a good understanding of the workings of this busy Michelin star kitchen, have learnt some useful tips and can take home a Marcello Tully at Kinloch Lodge apron and a collection of Marcello's own recipes.

Marcello's Bespoke Cookery Class: 3.00pm – 5.30pm (2.5hrs)
Pick up some technical chef skills in Marcello's range of bespoke cookery classes in Kinloch's kitchens, tailored to guests' interests. Choose from pastry and bread; butchery and fileting; soups, sauces and mousses; fish and seafood; or ideas for entertaining. Lasting two and a half hours, guests leave armed with inspiration, knowledge and confidence and at the end of the day, there's time to discuss what's been learnt with Marcello while enjoying afternoon tea or canapes and a glass of fizz by the fire in one of Kinloch's drawing rooms.

Marcello's Express Cookery Class: 45 mins
Marcello hosts an express 45-minute cookery course where you can learn how to make Kinloch's famous savoury and sweet scones (and eat them too, of course..).
See just how versatile they can be - cheese scones to accompany soup and lunch, petite breakfast scones and fruit or treacle scones for afternoon tea.
While the scones are being finished off in the oven, Marcello demonstrates a quick chef's trick and the class finishes with guests sampling the scones with jam and cream.
