Beers For The Drivers

The Anderson

The Driver's Menu at The Anderson includes not only a full description of each beverage, but also an analysis of their alcohol units. Everything you need to make an informed decision to ensure that your night out, future generation or afterlife are not tainted by too much alcohol.

Since 2003 The Anderson in Fortrose on The Black Isle just north of Inverness has maintained that if you're not drinking -- whether it's because you're driving, you're pregnant, for reasons of religion, health or age - you shouldn't be swept under the gastronomic carpet.

Never again need you utter the mantra, "I guess I’ll have to have a fresh orange & lemonade - I'm driving”.  At The Anderson, non- or light-drinkers can enjoy a genuine, sophisticated flavour experience that's not available anywhere else.

In fact, The Anderson’s Drivers' Beers are more diverse and fashionable than most pubs' normal beers. Wheat beer and pale ale from cutting-edge craft brewers such as Brew Dog and Mikkeller are available alongside stout, hefe-weizen, fruit beer and pils from traditional German, Belgian and Scottish breweries such as Erdinger, Holstein, Lindemans & Mackeson.

For those who prefer a fruit-based beverage, Bouvrage Scottish raspberry drink, Luscombe's Organic Ginger Beer and Fentiman's Orange & Seville Orange Jigger are naturally fermented from real fruit, without nasty chemical sweeteners. Fans of fizzy drinks can choose from Goose Island sodas from the USA, sweetened with 100% cane sugar.
