The hotel is 25 minutes from Saint-Émilion where guests are invited for a tour with wine tasting at one of the most iconic Chateaux in the wine region. This means it offers a fantastic base for those wanting to explore the magical Bordeaux Christmas Markets that run from the 25th November until the 27th December.

The cookery classes take place in the hotel's on-site cookery school, "Côté Cours" and can be tailored according to the varying abilities of guests. Budding cooks are taught skills such as how to prepare fresh scallops to make simple, yet colourful and creative dishes to be enjoyed in the cookery school with a glass of wine.

The hotel's gastronomic restaurant is headed up by Michelin starred chef Nicolas Magie and is widely regarded as one of the finest restaurants in the Aquitaine region. The hotel also owns a fabulous traditional French bistro that's just a short walk from the hotel in the village. The bistro sells rotisserie dishes and a tantalising selection of homemade desserts that attract visitors from far and wide.

During their stay, guests will be driven to the spa which is just five minutes from the hotel – the perfect place to soothe the soul and get over those winter blues. They alone will have exclusive access to the luxurious outdoor hydrotherapy pool, sauna, hammam, massage chairs and infra-red lamps that have been specially designed to gently ease back pains.
