On April 12, 2013, the BEACON BAR opened at the Hotel Beacon on Broadway and 75th Street.   A sophisticated lounge with contemporary décor, the Beacon Bar is a welcomed addition to Beacon guests and New York’s Upper West Side neighborhood.  

The Hotel Beacon offers 270 rooms and suites, all with fully-equipped kitchenettes.  In the next few weeks, the Hotel Beacon will open a new Fitness Center, complimentary to all hotel guests, as well as a new laundry room with coin-operated and credit-card operated washers and dryers, very convenient for its many guests who stay for longer periods.  The hotel’s guest rooms offer cool and comfortable décor with complimentary Wi-Fi throughout, as well as sound-proof windows, in-room safes and iPod docking radios as standard features. 

Within a few blocks of the hotel are Central Park, Lincoln Center, American Museum of Natural History, as well as discount shopping at Century 21, DSW and Loehmann’s Department store.  Easy access to the 1, 2 and 3 Subway Line is 2 blocks from the hotel’s entrance.

Important note:  As of January, 2013, all guestrooms at the Hotel Beacon are non-smoking.
