Hamilton Island has unveiled the final stage of its extensive Beach Club Resort refurbishment. The redesign has been completed in time for Audi Hamilton Island Race Week, Australia's largest offshore regatta, and will transform the resort into the ultimate couples' getaway location.
Multi-award winning Australian interior designers, Hare & Klein, led the refurbishment of the five-star beachfront resort. The design team incorporated their extensive residential design experience to rejuvenate the Beach Club Resort, creating a 'home away from home', with stage one encompassing new bathrooms, and a full refresh of the resort rooms furnishings and interior design.
The premium rooms, created to give the feeling of a casual and elegant atmosphere, boast a soothing palate of indigo, dove grey and egg shell white and are designed to ensure guests feel like they are at their personal beach house.
In addition to being able to enjoy direct access to Catseye Beach and a private terrace with views over the Coral Sea, guests staying in the refurbished Beach Club Resort rooms also have access to a private, infinity-edge pool that's heated in winter.
Kyle LaMonicaGeneral Manager of Beach Club Resort, said the refurbishment made the resort the ultimate relaxing beachside escape for couples.
“The newly refurbished rooms are a reflection of the Oatley's interpretation of beachside luxury – casual, yet luxurious. Each of the refurbished rooms boast a spacious layout, with all the comforts of home. Beach Club guests can look forward to having everything they need to relax at their fingertips, while also enjoying our facilities and VIP service,” Mr LaMonica said.
Finishing highlights of the Beach Club refurbishment include:
- Mosaic tiling detail in bathroom
- Limited edition prints from iconic Australian artist John Olsen
- Aesop skin, hair and body products
- Freestanding stone bath
- Rain shower in bathroom
- Gorgeous pure cotton grey bedspread
- Beautiful oversized solid American Oak single oversized armchairs
- Plantation shutters opening up onto Catseye Beach
The refurbishment has upheld the Oatley family, Hamilton Island owners, reputation for design excellence that captures and preserves the Island's unique tropical ambience and peaceful surrounds.
Over the past decade, the Oatley family has spent more than $350 million on improvements to the Island, transforming it, to much acclaim, into a renowned world-class destination.
