Halloween celebrations are planned for the Lower Gardens on the night of 31 October for anyone who hasnt trick-or-treated in a while! The fun begins at 4pm until 8pm.
There will be ghouls galore and fun for all the family. Come dressed in your most scary outfit and win a prize for being the best! Or put your carving skills into action and carve out the scariest face in a pumpkin and enter it into the pumpkin glow competition!
There'll also be two thirty minute pantomimes in the bandstand, but if you get too scared, you can always go and have your face painted as your favourite fiend and scare everyone else! For all the young spookers who are just starting out, you can learn the tricks of the trade at either the Wizards Workshop or the Magic workshop with Johnathan the Jester.
You can also get into the theme at the spooky fairground rides at Pier Approach, and perhaps go for a gruesome story telling session afterwards. But your fun packed day won't be complete with a go at the Halloween Trail. Use the clue sheet to find all sorts of tricks and treats hidden around the gardens and get a head start on the horror!
