Just launched for the 2021 season is Cornwall's brand new, traditionally built pilot cutter, Pellew. The sleek and powerful oak-framed charter vessel, beautifully crafted by Cornish boat builder Luke Powell, is the first of its kind to be built in 150 years. At 68-feet long, she is also the largest and fastest Gaff Rig sea-faring boat in the UK. And you could be one of the first to set sail on her this summer on trips around Cornwall's stunning coastline, to the Isles of Scilly, to the Channel Islands and the Hebrides in Scotland

Built for speed and agility, Pellew is the faithful recreation of the Falmouth Pilot Cutter Vincent, which was originally built in 1852, based in St Mawes, and a familiar sight on the Fal Estuary for 70 years. Today, the spirit of tradition and fine shipping heritage lives on in Pellew which has been built to modern Maritime & Coastguard Agency standards, and designed to sail the oceans of the world, with her guests travelling in utmost comfort and safety. 

Pellew sleeps 8 in an open cabin, perfect for private charters as well as for solo travellers and small groups of friends looking for fun days out or longer sea-faring excursions and adventurous, active holidays. Guests are hosted by a crew – the skipper for this year will be Luke himself, supported by a shipmate or two, and a dedicated cook who provides all the delicious meals on board. Of course, guests are actively encouraged to get involved on deck too.

Pellew's 2021 all-inclusive holiday voyages take place between May and October.
