CPI, the Dubai-based publisher of OK! Middle East, has secured another high profile franchise. From September, it will publish a monthly version of the UKs leading food magazine, BBC Good Food Middle East.
With the region currently enjoying an explosion of food outlets and new celebrity chef arrivals almost weekly, the time is right for a magazine that caters to the serious food lover.
From eating out to cooking in with friends or family, food is more than a necessity its a key pleasure for many, explains editor Dave Reeder. Our audience will be people interested in food, its background and how the different cultures here in the Gulf bring together so many new tastes and flavours.
The magazine will combine recipes (many featured on the cable channel BBC Food) and well as practical lessons. It will also feature local restaurants heavily, together with interviews with Gulf-based chefs, aiming to put the food they present to us into context.
A fully interactive Web site and Food Club will follow.
All PRs and MarCom Managers for hotels, independent food outlets and key food brands are asked to include the magazine on press release lists. Feature ideas and interviews also welcomed.
