Bath on Ice, Bath's festive outdoor real ice rink is back by popular demand with a brand new pizza chalet and Ice Lounge bar and cafe. This year will also feature a range of special theme nights including live music and 'Dates on Ice'.

Located in the spectacular parkland setting of Royal Victoria Park beneath the world famous Royal Crescent in central Bath, the rink attracts local residents and visitors from all over the region.

Opening on Friday 21st November visitors and groups will be also able to enjoy a new indoor Ice Lounge bar and café serving freshly made pizzas, perfect for Christmas parties. The heated indoor lounge area will be designed to create an ideal setting for people to sit and enjoy the skating.

Director Simon Smith said: “Judging by the comments we have received via our customer survey and on our Facebook page our visitors love the whole skating experience.  This year however we want to provide even better facilities for individuals and especially groups so that they can enjoy a skate and soak up the atmosphere. Increased and improved catering services will offer the chance for a post skate mulled wine or maybe a latte and a slice of pizza. Feedback from clients has also prompted us to introduce special theme nights including singles nights, live music and Christmas fancy dress plus more online booking offers and incentives.”

The rink will be open from 10am until 9pm daily (except Christmas Day) from the 21st November until the 4th January. Sessions last for one-hour with skate hire included.
