The Langham, Melbourne is delighted to announce that Barbie Extra is returning to the hotel for the upcoming April school holidays. Barbie Extra Kids' Tea will be taking place on weekdays from 11 April - 21 April, with two sessions held daily (11:30am – 1:30pm and 2:30pm – 4:30pm).

Tea party guests will once again be hosted in Alto, The Langham's luxury event space 25 floors aboveground which boasts magnificent views over the Melbourne city skyline and Yarra River. 

The Langham, Melbourne, is the unofficial home of children's teas in Melbourne and the hotel is looking forward to welcoming back its junior guests and families in the April school holidays. 

Barbie Extra encourages children to express themselves through their unique style and fashion and, as such, Kids' Tea guests are invited to dress brightly and boldly. Barbie Extra is all about having fun with fashion with pops of colour, glitter and stand-out hair bringing EXTRA vibes. 

Kids' Tea guests will indulge in an array of tea party treats inspired by Barbie Extra, including a Barbie chocolate sable, Tutti fruitti rainbow jelly, Passionfruit macaroon, Raspberry chocolate lollipop and Ruby chocolate cupcake with gummi bears. 

Of course, savoury items are also on the menu and include a Focaccia with creamy cheese, marinated zucchini, tomato and mint, a 'Ham, jam and wham' (smoked ham, strawberry jam and crispy cheese sandwich), a Bacon, green bean and rosemary arrancini with BBQ sauce and an English muffin pizza with pumpkin, sweet potato, spring onions, corn and tomato.

Accompanying adults will enjoy the hotel's signature three-tiered stand, including freshly-baked scones with fresh cream and preserves, as well as an exquisite selection of miniature sweet and savoury treats and specialty teas.

Barbie Extra Kids' Tea is priced at $85 per child, which includes a Barbie to take home. $89 per adult for The Langham Afternoon Tea inclusive of a glass of sparkling wine.
