ST. MORITZ, June 24, 2014 – Badrutt's Palace Hotel fires up the grill this summer with its WEBER Live BBQ Seminar on July 19 and August 23, 2014. The internationally renowned brand offers exclusive barbecue sessions against a stunning backdrop of Lake St. Moritz. With the help of a certified barbecue expert, participants learn broiling techniques, the art of vegetarian sizzling over charcoal, and even how to create desserts on the grill.
From the moment George Stephen first had the idea of creating a barbecue out of a metal buoy cut in half and turned on its side, Weber barbecue brand was born. The domed lid allows the kettle barbecue to act like a fan-assisted oven, enabling gentler cooking and that special taste.
Things start heating up when the 'kitchen chef with a difference' demonstrates how best to prepare curried vegetable wraps, pancakes with blueberries or Kaiserschmarrn (shredded pancake with sugar and raisins) on the grill. Need to know what technique to use for which type of meat? No problem. Whether participants are already a dab hand on the barbecue, or if this is the first time they have picked up a pair of tongs, the aim of the WEBER Live BBQ Seminar is to turn an extraordinary grilling menu into an accessible tour de force for guests.
