Hotel guests are more likely to book a stay with a hotel that offers a high quality food and beverage product and service. Recognising this growing industry trend, BEST WESTERN PLUS Hotel Stellar has answered its guests' wishes, officially opening its Parisian-style Bar Stellar in Sydney.

Bar Stellar Café Manager, Yan Martinez says he sees the Parisian-themed café becoming the new 'heart' of the hotel allowing guests and customers from neighbouring businesses to explore their own culinary tastes and desire for freshly roasted coffee.

"Bar Stellar will serve fresh modern Australian and French-inspired cuisine with a twist; All Press coffee, Treasury Wine Estates wine, cocktails and delicate cakes and sweets all the while making each person feel like they could be sitting somewhere in the bustling streets of Paris," he said.

BEST WESTERN PLUS Hotel Stellar General Manager, Daniel Rosso has been front of house at the hotel since 2003. He says he has witnessed many changing trends in hospitality and guest services during this time, especially in what guests want to receive when they check-in to the hotel.

"So much has changed relating to what a person wants when they book a hotel reservation now, especially in food and beverage," Daniel said.

"We are finding they are looking for a quality product at breakfast and freshly ground coffee onsite that day in the hotel. They want an experience that is unique, and the quality of a hotel's on-site food and beverage offering will make or break a person's interest in booking a hotel.

"Corporate travellers have a set budget that they can spend on food, and they will choose their hotel by what types of restaurants, cafés and coffee is available at the hotel and in its surrounding area.

"When people book now with BEST WESTERN PLUS Hotel Stellar, they will have the option of a trendy onsite café serving fresh, quality food made daily and freshly roasted coffee to help them start their day.

"Bar Stellar has been ten years in the making, so we are very excited to finally launch the new look café as our very own," he said.

Bar Stellar hopes to extend its kitchen facilities in the second half of 2013, adding an additional meetings, incentives, events and conferences space to its already successful GreenLight Lounge event space.

To celebrate Bar Stellar's opening, all customers and guests who visit the café today between 8am - 11am can order a free coffee.

Bar Stellar will be open 6:30am - 8pm daily and is located at 4 Wentworth Avenue, Darlinghurst at BEST WESTERN PLUS Hotel Stellar off the corner of Hyde Park.
