Bali On ANY Budget now Brighter And Better

Garuda Indonesia

Garuda Orient Holidays previewed their 2002/03 Bali on ANY budget brochure to thirty of their top producing agents from Australia and New Zealand at their inaugural Top Achievers Weekend in Bali last weekend. Effective from 1st April 2002, the latest edition of Bali on ANY budget incorporates more options for even more value this year.

Standing out as the most visible change to this industry bible on Bali is the new cover, featuring the umbul umbul, Indonesian umbrellas, against a background of bright green rice paddies. The award winning 100-page brochure traditionally gets a cover re-vamp every two years.

The umbrellas also replace last years fish theme in the super-special icon that highlights those properties featuring special offers of bonus nights or complimentary extras. A new spa resorts icon joins the super special and family friendly icons in denoting those properties that cater to the increasingly popular spa market.

The new features of this brochure are designed to make holiday selection easier for both the consumer and the consultant, no matter how varied the requirements, says Garuda Orient Holidays Product Manager, Nick Deacock. The inclusion of regional names in the distinctive colour banners allows readers to thumb quickly to a specific area or feature, while ranging properties from luxury to budget within each area reinforces the high quality of accommodation that is available and allows the consultant to focus more on the upper end of the market.

However, living up to its name of catering to ANY budget, the brochure also provides information for those on a smaller budget with the introduction of the new Budget Bali Hotels section. The rapidly expanding market looking for private, villa-style accommodation will find the section on Villa Holidays ideal, and the Discover Luxury brand is featured more strongly with a triangle icon highlighting properties in this category.

The recent opening of Indonesias first lawn bowls club in Bali has lead to another new feature titled Bowl over to Bali which offers very attractive lawn bowls packages to the many lawn bowls enthusiasts in Australia. The familiar Tee off to Bali section has been expanded to include several new golf courses.

By popular demand, price inserts have again been included in the centre of the brochure and favourites like the renamed Bali Cultural Encounters, Bali Cooking Schools and Bali Weddings International have also been included again.

New land products include an expanded range of sightseeing options, sail and surfing cruises and lawn bowls. New hotel products include the new family apartment section, the new villa holidays section, new Aman Resorts section and the new Budget Bali Holidays section. A score of new properties have been included, bringing the total to over 140 featured hotels in Bali and Lombok, and several dozens in other regions of Indonesia. This makes the new Bali on ANY budget, as always, the definitive guide to Bali and beyond.

The 2002/3 Bali on ANY budget is available through Templar Marketing (Travcour in Victoria).
