Bangkok, Thailand (August 6th, 2014) – Backyard Travel, the online boutique travel agency specializing in unique and insider tours to Asia, is currently running an incredible photography competition in which the winner will be given the extraordinary sum of US $8,000 to spend on a tailor-made trip to Asia.

On top of this life-changing first prize, Backyard Travel have been giving out prizes to the best pictures submitted for each month, with the winner for July having just been chosen.

Cindy-Lou Dale took this fantastic photograph of a wintery scene at Dungeness in Kent (England). As the winning picture for July, Cindy wins a copy of Steve McCurry's photography book 'The Iconic Photographs', a collection of wonderful pictures from around the world.

To stand a chance of winning the main prize of a US $8,000 holiday, entrants have to submit an inspirational photograph via Backyard Travel's Facebook page of their home town or 'Backyard'.

There are only three weeks left to enter the competition, and once the submission deadline has passed on September 1st, the voting process will begin to determine the winner. Anyone can vote and once voting ends in December, the 10 most 'liked' photographs will go into a final group, from which the winner will be chosen.

With their US $8,000 winnings, the taker of the winning photograph will work with Backyard Travel's team of Travel Specialists to tailor their very own dream trip in Asia.
