Bangkok, Thailand (May 22, 2014) – Backyard Travel, the online boutique travel agency specializing in unique and insider tours to Asia, is currently running an incredible competition which will reward one fortunate winner with an $8,000 tailor-made trip to Asia.

On top of the fabulous first prize, Backyard Travel has been giving monthly prizes to the very best entries sent in, and have recently announced the winner for the month of May.

Onur Pinar's great photograph of a women looking out across the Bosphorus, in his hometown of Istanbul, was chosen as the best entry from May. Onur won a copy of Ben Davies' photo-book "Ancient Capitals of Thailand", a collection of wonderful images.

To stand a chance of winning this once in a life time prize, entrants have to send in an inspirational photograph that they have taken of their home town or “Backyard”, which tells a unique story.

The exciting competition has now been running for over two months and ends on December 14, 2014. The exceptional first prize offers one fortunate winner the opportunity to have the Asian vacation of their dreams, with an $8,000 budget to visit any of the eight countries Backyard Travel provide tailor-made tours to.
