Back By Popular Demand - One Direction Take Up Permanent Residence At Madame Tussauds London - Figures In The Attraction Now

Madame Tussauds London

The wax figures of pop sensation, One Direction, proved such a big hit on the London leg of their Madame Tussauds world tour, that five NEW figures created by the talented sculptors have taken up permanent residence at the world famous attraction.

The original figures created a storm in London when they were unveiled in April before embarking on an international tour, which saw them wow fans in New York and Sydney (their current location), with Tokyo their next destination in 2014. But, the demand for their return to the UK was so overwhelming that the London attraction pulled out all the stops to get the new wax figures of the boys back in their fully themed room.

The group sit casually together on a school-style double bench, where fans able to sit right beside them. The outfits worn by the figures have been donated by the group, and have been updated to reflect clothing the boys can be seen wearing in a concert scene from their film, This Is Us.

They are dressed in their smart casual, colour co-ordinated stage style, with Zayn sporting a black leather jacket, complete with black skinny jeans and grey t-shirt, Harry dons a fashionably relaxed look, with black trainers and jeans with a black t-shirt plus grey wool jacket with pocket handkerchief. Liam rocks a denim jacket, with hoodie and grey t-shirt worn underneath, with black trainers to finish off the look, while Louis goes jacket-less, wearing a long sleeved grey and black t-shirt with black skinny jeans, finished off with his trademark missing socks. Finally Niall keeps it casual with white high top trainers, black skinny jeans and white t-shirt topped off with a bomber jacket, with sleeves rolled up to his elbows.
