Rebranding, new openings and major new Bill Bensley collaboration pipelined for 2017-2018

May 2017 – Luxury travel and lifestyle PR and marcomms agency Bacall Associates is proud to announce another major client win, with its appointment to handle the PR and communications for Cambodia's leading boutique luxury resort brand, Shinta Mani. The burgeoning Shinta Mani portfolio will soon see its upscale boutique flagship in Siem Reap rebranded, expanded, and joined by exceptional new properties in Phnom Penh and, a little further south, in the jungle wilds of Tmor Rung - with further new resort developments also in the pipeline.

Currently known as Shinta Mani Club, Shinta Mani's flagship in Siem Reap is an upscale boutique hotel created by acclaimed architect Bill Bensley, showcasing just 39 contemporary designed rooms and public spaces in an Angkorian-inspired design. Bensley's visionary concepts and designs will also be the creative driving force behind the evolution and expansion of the Shinta Mani portfolio, while a dynamic and talented management team led by Sokoun Chanpreda (founder of iconic landmarks Bed Supperclub in Bangkok and Hotel de la Paix in Siem Reap) as well as renowned hoteliers Jason Friedman (formerly of The Siam Bangkok) and Indra Budiman (former CEO of Hansar Hotels & Resorts) will provide the critical blend of flair and operational experience needed to steer the brand as it breaks new ground.

Shinta Mani's ambitious expansion plans for the next 12 months will see the addition of a new super-luxe pool villa 'resort within a resort' in Siem Reap this year; a brand new standalone property in Phnom Penh; and an extraordinary self-sustained luxury tented nature sanctuary in the jungle wilderness of Tmor Rung that will nurture its natural environment through partnerships with respected conservation organisations.  Set in key locations throughout Cambodia, the growing Shinta Mani stable of exceptional hotels and resorts will serve to support the Shinta Mani Foundation, established in 2004 to enhance the lives of the Cambodian people by increasing their human capital and providing them with the tools to overcome the constraints of poverty.
