Lefay Resort & Spa Lago di Garda, the luxury eco spa resort overlooking Lake Garda has introduced two short relaxation programmes to help the body prepare for Winter, using a combination of Classical Chinese Medicine and Western techniques.
Autumn is a season of transition and according to Classical Chinese Medicine, our body uses this time to gather all its energy ready for the cold Winter season, just as the Earth itself does. Therefore, our energy shifts from Yang, linked to light and activity, to Yin, reflecting darkness and stillness, to preserve our health before Winter.
Lefay has developed a relaxing programme to recover your natural energy balance and nourish the skin after Summer sunbathing.
The Autumn Relaxation path includes three nights at Lefay Resort & Spa with breakfast, a flotation session in the salt-water 'lake', a body massage, a salt and caper body scrub with Lefay's own extra virgin olive oil, a tension relieving neck and back massage and a moisturising 'Acqua Vitale' facial.
The price is £428 (590 Euros) per person (double occupancy).
The Autumn Health Special is designed to gather vital energy and rediscover a healthy and self-aware lifestyle. The programme includes three nights at Lefay Resort & Spa with breakfast, lunch and dinner from the Lefay Spa menu, including drinks, a tuina massage, body massage, reflexology treatment, facial massage, aroma-hydrotherapy session with essential oils and two rebalancing sessions such as Tai Qi or Qi Gong, The programme includes an initial consultation with the spa doctor, a personalised programme and a final check up with advice for maintaining a healthy lifestyle at home. The price is £718 (990 Euros) per person (double occupancy).
Lefay Resort & Spa Lago di Garda is set in 27 acres of woodland and olive groves in the Alto Garda National Park, overlooking Lake Garda. The luxury eco-spa resort features five different types of sauna; a salt water lake for flotation therapies; a state-of-the-art gym; and outdoor and indoor swimming pools. The resort has developed its own Lefay Spa Method with treatments and therapies dedicated to restoring balance, improving energy levels and achieving overall wellbeing by combining the preventative approach of classical Chinese medicine and modern Western techniques. Eco-iniatives at Lefay have resulted in the resort winning a number of prestigious eco tourism and spa awards.
