Blenheim Palace is staging a series of truly unique events and unmissable activities this autumn.
Ai Weiwei at Blenheim Palace – October 1st to December 14th
Blenheim Art Foundation is to host an extraordinary new exhibition by world-renowned artist Ai Weiwei. This will be the celebrated Chinese artist's largest ever UK exhibition, with more than 50 new and iconic artworks on display, including works created especially for Blenheim Palace, throughout the Palace and its grounds.
Specialist Tours – September to November
For those wishing to learn about Blenheim Palace's rich history and heritage the Specialist Tours scheduled for autumn provide a wealth of information about Blenheim Palace's past. In-depth tours include; 'Creating an Architectural Masterpiece' (September 23rd), 'Victorian Passions and Pursuits at Blenheim Palace (October 29th) and 'Odd Men and Necessary Women' (November 9th-14th).
Autumn Colours – September to December
As autumn sets in at Blenheim Palace, over 2000 acres of 'Capability' Brown parkland will be transformed with an array of warm colours, making this a beautiful time of year to come and take in the stunning landscape and views.
Blenheim Palace Horse Trials – September 11th to 14th
For equine enthusiasts the Blenheim Palace International Horse Trials is one of the leading three star events in the British Eventing calendar and offers a weekend of top class eventing.
Blenheim Palace Literary Festival – September 24th to 28th
The Blenheim Palace Literary Festival starts the autumn literary events diary with a wonderful line up of leading writers and public figures from the fields of politics, history, food and drink, architecture and design, music, literature and society.
BHF Blenheim Palace Half Marathon – October 5th
For keen runners and fundraisers the BHF Blenheim Palace Half Marathon is an unmissable race around the 2,000 acres of 'Capability' Brown parkland offering stunning views to help motivate and inspire a personal best.
Halloween Entertainment – October 25th to November 2nd
Spooky fun for families! Children can ride the Ghost Train down to the Pleasure Gardens for a whole host of ghastly goings-on. Lurk around the labyrinth, take the 'Which Witch is Which?' trail to win some treats, get creepily crafty in the 'Pottering About' studio or try your hand at pumpkin carving in the Pleasure Gardens Deli.

Living Crafts for Christmas (November 20th - 23rd) Over 150 British designer-makers will be showcasing high quality contemporary crafts perfect for stocking fillers and Christmas gifts.
Christmas at Blenheim Palace (November 8th – December 14th) The festive season is always a magical time at Blenheim Palace and this year visitors will be immersed in 'Glitter and Gold'. With living statues, Santa's Grotto and school choirs singing carols expect a warm feast of Christmas goodies, winter warmers, seasonal food and shopping.
