Let us introduce you to Tirol's Zillertal and the High Mountain Nature Park Zillertal Alps today, a particularly worthwhile destinations for holidaymakers loving all things outdoors.

High Mountain Nature Park Zillertal Alps

The High Mountain Nature Park Zillertal Alps is a high mountain nature park in the truest sense of the word. Formed of five side valleys, it spreads across 422 km2 and is home to more than 70 peaks over 3,000 m, and a huge variety of animals as well as plants. Together with other nature parks in North, South and East Tirol, the High Alps Nature Park Zillertal forms the largest association of nature reserves in the Alps!

Close to the entrance, marked by deep gorges, called “Gründe” in the local lingo, the newly opened Zillertal Alps Nature Park House features the geology and minerals exhibition "Hidden treasures" and is the park's main meeting and starting point. Professional guides take hikers on more than 30 different themed tours from here, including special walks for families with children.
