Australian Traveller Media Goes Native with the Relaunch of Sites

Australia's biggest travel publishers, Australian Traveller and International Traveller, have relaunched australiantraveller.com and internationaltravellermag.com with native advertising 'as the DNA of the sites'.

Australiantraveller.com removed more than 30% of its display inventory while integrating native into the core of the user experience.

Quentin Long, co-founder and managing director of Australian Traveller Media, says: “We started with the understanding that display digital was increasingly ineffective and native is the future. The real estate is 22% greater, but far more effective. The native platform we have created flows through the site and does what native is meant to do - engage users with great content.”

The new sites launched with major native campaigns, created exclusively by Australian Traveller Media, with Destination Canada and Tourism Events Queensland. Traffic is already showing consistent growth with unique visitors up 43% in the last month for Australian Traveller (the latest site to launch the new format).

Australian Traveller Media's mission is to connect people to incredible travel experiences in any media.
