The Australian Society of Travel Writers (ASTW) is offering a chance to join Australia's peak body for travel media and save on the $175 joining fee.
The limited-time offer is open to staff and freelance travel writers, digital publishers, photographers, videographers and communications specialists with travel and tourism clients.
Founded in 1975 and incorporated in 2011, the ASTW offers its members a range of benefits including the annual Convention and Awards for Excellence (held earlier this month in the Tweed, northern NSW), regular networking lunches across the country, professional development through webinars and face-to-face training, while ASTW writers and digital publishers receive automatic membership of TravMedia with the ASTW logo displayed alongside their profile.
The Awards for Excellence is one of the society's most anticipated events, honouring our best writers, photographers, digital publishers and communicators who complete for industry accolades and fantastic prizes.
Potential members who meet the criteria should apply by 30 November to take advantage of this offer. An annual membership fee applies.
ASTW president Caroline Gladstone said: “Come aboard and experience the camaraderie of an organisation that's been going strong for 47 years.”
