Australia Day Live on Sydney Harbou
Our national day on Sydney Harbour might be a little different this year with some events like the Ferrython and Tall Ships Race postponed. There will still be many reasons to come together as a nation. Together with the 185th Australia Day Regatta and the made-for-TV Australia Day Live Spectacular, Captain Cook Cruises will be back on Sydney Harbour to celebrate Australia Day 2021 with a choice of bar, lunch and dinner cruises.
Captain Cook Cruises flagship, Sydney 2000, will take a lead role in the Australia Day Spectacular in the evening. The 2021 event will centre on the Sydney Opera House and Circular Quay with fireworks, live musical performances, a parade of jet-skis, fly boarders and yachts. The limited number of guests onboard Sydney 2000 allows you to enjoy front row seats to the amazing pyrotechnic displays.
During the day, the 185th Australia Day Regatta, the oldest continuously conducted annual sailing regatta in the world, will take place from 1:00pm with Captain Cook Cruises on the Harbour to cheer them on.
Both the Australia Day Lunch and Australia Day Dinner cruises include live music, a 4-course premium menu and a superior selection of wines and beers from $159 per person. There is also an entry level Australia Day Bar option on Ocean Deck from $39 per person, where guests can pay as they go for food and drinks.
The Australia Day Lunch departs at 11:00am from Darling Harbour, King St Wharf No.1 and returns 2:30pm.
The Australia Day Dinner also departs from King Street Wharf No.1 at 6:30pm, returning approximately 10:30pm.
