KBC PR & Marketing has been appointed by the Atlantic Canada Tourism Partnership as their UK public relations representative following a competitive pitch in June this year. The Partnership is a marketing consortium of four Canadian provinces on the Atlantic Coast: New Brunswick, Newfoundland & Labrador, Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island
KBCs marketing-led approach and understanding of the Atlantic Canada brand gave the agency the edge over its rivals, supported by eight years of experience in Canadian tourism promotion through its work for Travel Alberta.
Said Krista Lingley, UK Program Manager for Atlantic Canada Tourism Partnership: We felt that KBC had a true understanding of our market and what Atlantic Canada wants and needs to achieve in the UK. Their proposals demonstrated their alignment with our brand and a great attention to detail. Were delighted to be working with them and look forward to making great strides forward together.
Comments Kate Burgess-Craddy, Managing Director of KBC: Were so excited to have been awarded the ACTP contract. They have set the bar very high for other destinations in terms of their brand and messaging and were looking forward to introducing them to the UK media. The synergy with our other clients is also a great advantage.
This project has been made possible through funding provided by the Atlantic Canada Tourism Partnership (ACTP). ACTP is a nine member pan-Atlantic partnership comprised of the Government of Canada through the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency, the four Atlantic Canada Tourism Industry Associations and the four Provincial Departments responsible for tourism.
