A new stand concept, the launch of its new look website, the return of the Floriade (the decennial world horticultural fair), flower-themed cocktails at its happy hour and not to mention great prizes to be won. The Netherlands Board of Tourism & Conventions (NBTC) has a number of new developments for World Travel Market (WTM) 2009. Moreover the NBTC will once again support the Just a Drop foundation by partnering with Floriade 2012 to raise money for those most in need of clean and safe drinking water.
New Holland Meeting Point The brand new Holland Meeting Point will be unveiled at the WTM 2009. The new exhibition stand will demonstrate the world-renowned Dutch design and offers visitors a more transparent view of Holland. They will have a better view of who is exhibiting with accessibility much improved to do business. Furthermore it will showcase the best of the country featuring both the classic and modern highlights.
Refreshed Holland.com On Friday 30 October the newly refreshed Holland.com website was launched. With a much improved layout visitors can navigate their way offering better access to the latest information about Holland as well has how to get there. New on the website is the �Mood Selector� which supplies you inspiration on where to go depending on your mood. Choosing a break to Holland has never been easier!
Happy Hour The annual informal networking Happy Hour with traditional Dutch drinks & snacks will start at 16.30 on Tuesday 10 November 2009 on the stand (EM4000). This year the happy hour is sponsored by Floriade 2012 and delicious flower themed cocktails will be served giving you a delicate preview of what to expect at the World Horticultural Expo 2012.
New partners Yes it�s back after almost a decade! Floriade 2012 will present the first plans for the world famous World Horticultural Expo which is staged once every ten years.

Zuid Holland competition At the Holland Meeting point, you can win a three day short break to experience the highlights of Zuid-Holland. Just a drop fundraising Every year at World Travel Market, the Netherlands Board of Tourism & Conventions (NBTC) and their partners actively support the cause of the Just a Drop foundation. The activities in previous years have provided clean and safe drinking water to several remote villages including Siazibola and Chise Village in Eastern Africa.
This year the NBTC in co-operation with Floriade 2012 supports the fundraising activity at WTM 2009. Fundraisers carrying the Just a Drop signature blue buckets will sport new colourful floral fashion this year wearing accessories in Floriade style made from 100% natural and sustainable materials. Please make sure to give generously and support those who are most in need. Floriade 2012 is also giving away free bottles of the purest water to create awareness for the fantastic cause that Just a Drop promotes. You can collect your bottle from the Holland Meeting Point (EM4000) or from the Just a Drop stand on the main boulevard.
