Asia’s 50 Best Bars

Asia's 50 Best Bars, sponsored by Perrier, returns to Macau for its 2026 live awards ceremony in collaboration with host destination partners Wynn Macau and Wynn Palace. The awards will take place in Macau for a second consecutive year, with the event programme culminating in a live awards ceremony at Wynn Palace on Tuesday 28 July 2026.

Recognised as the leading authority on cocktail culture across the region, Asia's 50 Best Bars honours Asia's top bars and celebrates the region's finest bartenders and mixologists. The ranking is determined by the votes of the Asia's 50 Best Bars Academy – an anonymous, gender-balanced panel of more than 300 esteemed industry professionals including bartenders, bar owners, beverage writers and cocktail connoisseurs from across the region.

Each member of the Academy may cast votes for up to seven venues in which they have experienced outstanding bar experiences within the voting period. The final list is generated through a simple computation of votes, with results independently verified by Deloitte to ensure integrity and transparency.

Emma Sleight, Head of Content for Asia's 50 Best Bars, says: “We are delighted to return to Macau for Asia's 50 Best Bars 2026. The city provides a dynamic setting for bringing together the region's bar community to celebrate creativity, craftsmanship and hospitality at the highest level. Our continued partnership with Wynn Macau and Wynn Palace offers an exceptional opportunity to honour the achievements of this year's most highly ranked establishments.”

Linda Chen, President, Vice Chairman and Executive Director of Wynn Macau, Limited, says: "With the success of the Asia's 50 Best Bars last year, we are thrilled to host the awards ceremony once again this year at Wynn Macau and Wynn Palace. Wynn's role as Official Host Destination Partner for two consecutive years is not only a testament to our commitment to fostering excellence in the food and beverage industry and setting new industry benchmarks, but is also a reflection of our leadership position in the global culinary industry. Wynn looks forward to bringing together the best of Asia's bar industry in Macau to encourage the exchange of ideas and creativity, while also boosting 'tourism+' cross-sector integration, and continuing to build on Macau's reputation as a Creative City of Gastronomy and a World Center of Tourism and Leisure.”

This year's event programme fosters an exchange of ideas and innovation with a series of curated activities designed for the drinks community including the Bartenders' Feast, showcasing Macau's diverse culinary and beverage offerings, and Meet the Bartenders, an exclusive media roundtable session. The celebrations will culminate in the live awards ceremony at Wynn Palace, beginning with a glittering red-carpet reception followed by the official countdown revealing The Best Bar in Asia 2026, sponsored by Perrier.

Special Awards and the 51–100 List

The eagerly anticipated awards ceremony is preceded by a series of special awards announced in the run-up to the ceremony.

These include:

  • Michter's Art of Hospitality Award, presented to the bar that has delivered the most outstanding service and guest experience, as voted for by members of the Asia's 50 Best Bars Academy.
  • Altos Bartenders' Bartender Award, recognising an influential peer, selected by bartenders from the bars featured on the 2026 list, for their contribution to advancing the craft of bartending.
  • Ahead of the main awards event, the extended 51–100 list will also be revealed. Generated from the overall voting results, this ranking highlights additional venues that demonstrate the depth and diversity of Asia's thriving bar landscape.

The countdown of Asia's 50 Best Bars 2026, sponsored by Perrier, is also broadcast live to a global audience. Drinks enthusiasts and members of the bar community across the region and beyond are invited to join via the 50 Best YouTube channel.
