International singing star Mary J. Blige headlines in Aruba next month as the island's renowned Soul Beach Festival returns with a bang.
Attracting huge crowds to the festival site on Palm Beach, this year's 20th anniversary events end a two-year pandemic break for the iconic event. Scheduled to run over the long weekend of May 25 to 30 (Memorial Day weekend in America), the event features beach parties, comedy shows and nightclubs, as well as main stage concerts.
This Dutch Caribbean island welcomes Grammy-Award-winning singer, songwriter, actress, producer, and philanthropist, Mary J. Blige on Saturday, May 28. This global superstar has a track record of eight multi-platinum albums, nine Grammy Awards (plus a staggering 32 nominations), two Academy Award nominations, two Golden Globe nominations, and a SAG nomination.
The festival line-up will also include American R&B Eighties legends, New Edition, who will wow the beachside crowd on Sunday, May 29. Mike Epps, star of Netflix hit show The UpShaws headlines Comedy Night on Friday, May 27.
Aruba Tourism Authority CEO, Ronella Croes, commented: 'As we begin our return to normal life, I can't think of a better way to celebrate than with sharing our culture, hospitality and award-winning beaches with attendees and the musical artists during the five days of the festival on the One Happy Island.”
The festival attracts attendees from all over the world, who create a great party atmosphere together, as well as enjoying world-class acts. More mainstage performer will be announced in coming weeks.
