To help ensure the safety and well-being of all Aruba's residents and visitors, the Government of Aruba continually assesses the overall environment related to COVID-19 and modifies a variety of health and safety protocols, as appropriate.
Therefore, effective December 4, 2021, the United Kingdom & Ireland will be countries considered very high risk. Residents travelling to Aruba from a location listed as very high-risk, will need to complete a PCR test one day prior to their departure date and won't have the option to test upon arrival. The 72-hours PCR testing will no longer be applicable for residents travelling from a very high-risk country.
Visitors 12 years old and older, who have tested positive using a molecular COVID-19 test by nasopharyngeal swab between 2 weeks and 12 weeks prior to their travel date to Aruba, and do not show any symptoms, will be exempt from the requirement of providing a negative COVID-19 test result.
As part of the mandatory Embarkation/Disembarkation Card process, these visitors will, however, be required to upload proof of their positive Molecular COVID-19 by nasopharyngeal swab test result taken between 2 and 12 weeks prior to their travel date to Aruba.
This is a precautionary measure to protect the islands residents and its visitors. The level of risk of each country is identified based on government health data, particularly the total number of new cases compared to the total population. To help ensure the safety and well-being, the Government of Aruba continually assesses the overall environment related to COVID-19 and modifies a variety of health and safety protocol as appropriate.

Note to editors: The Dutch Caribbean island of Aruba lies 15 miles north of the South American coastline, benefitting from year-round sunshine, an average temperature of 32 degrees and a cooling breeze. Located on the edge of the hurricane belt, with a nine mile stretch of award-winning pristine beach, turquoise seas, colonial Dutch architecture and a Latin vibe, Aruba is a delightful alternative Caribbean experience.
