Artesian, the award-winning bar at The Langham, London celebrates Halloween this year with a cocktail to remember - Aqui Estoy – meaning ‘Here I am’ in Spanish. Designed by Head Mixologist Alex Kratena, it’s a  refreshing drink that combines Don Julio Blanco tequila from Mexico, Mezcal for a strong and smoky flavour, together with Shiso from Japan that gives this cocktail it’s refreshing mint taste along with fresh lime.

The drink is presented in a skull with the eyes having been filled in with rice flowers. Skulls are a traditional folk art from Central and Southern Mexico used to celebrate Day of the Dead. Alex says “This drink celebrates the death of a person in a glorious way – this is the Mexican tradition. For those who want to taste a completely unique cocktail this Halloween this is the one to try.”
