The Brighter Group is representing a number of the world's leading destinations at this year's WTM - the leading global event for the travel industry.  From ice-cream with Jordan to rum punch on the Antigua stand, there are a number of great on-stand media events taking place throughout.  Please find the full information below and RSVP directly if you'd like to attend. 

Jordan - ME140 / ME150

Jordan Tourist Board Press Conference: 6th November at 11am

Please join Jordan Tourist Board on Monday 6 November at 11am for their on-stand WTM press conference at stand numbers ME140 / ME150. You will hear about the latest Red Sea billion-dollar developments, launching early 2018, to cement Aqaba's position as a winter sun destination. The new resorts will transform 43.6 million square foot of Jordan's coastline and will welcome many firsts from an 18-hole Championship golf course to water park and wake park. Jordan will also give an update on the growth of the country's adventure tourism sector, following the successful launch of the Jordan Trail in 2017, and how the Dead Sea will once again host the ATTA Adventure Next conference from 7th – 9th May 2018.  To celebrate Jordan as a winter sun destination, the Jordan Tourist Board have partnered with Jordanian ice cream connoisseurs, Four Winters to serve tastes of Jordan on stand from Monday to Wednesday too.

Taiwan - AS 750

Taiwan Happy Hour: Monday, 6th November at 4pm Join us for a fun and tasty event on the Taiwan stand AS 750 and immerse yourself in an all Taiwanese atmosphere with mouth-watering delicacies, drinks and entertainment from our Taiwanese performers. The TTB Director, together with other members of Taiwan Tourism Bureau, will welcome you and offer insights and news about the destination. Attendees will be in with the chance of winning one set of two return tickets to Taiwan with China Airlines or EVA Air in premium economy - because the best way to discover the destination is to experience it.

Malta - EU1450

Visit Malta Maltese Wine & Dine: 6-8th November at 4pm

Every day at 4pm, visitors are invited to join us at the Malta Tourism Authority on stand number EU1450 to try Maltese food and wine. Attendees will have the chance to win free return EasyJet flights from Southend to Malta and three nights' bed and breakfast at the five-star InterContinental Malta hotel in St Julian's for anyone who leaves their business card in the on-stand jar.

South Africa - AF250

Drinks with SA Wines: Monday 6th November at 6pm

South African Tourism and stand partners would love you to join them on stand AF250 for a glass of South African wine as they discuss key product news on core themes such as responsible tourism, wildlife, and active adventure, plus updates on campaigns for the year. The delegation, including Minister of Tourism the Honourable Ms Tokozile Xasa and South African Tourism CEO Sisa Ntshona, will be on hand to discuss South Africa's main news from 2017, such as the recently opened Zeitz MoCAA in Cape Town, and major plans for next year as the country looks ahead to the Nelson Mandela Centenary in 2018. Attendees can also immerse themselves in the wonders of South Africa's varied cultures, breath-taking landscapes and incredible wildlife with the stand's VR headsets and meet SAT's star brand ambassadors from their new brand film.
