The two-week tour aims to include all of the most important sites of the ancient kingdoms of Armenia and Georgia. Claiming to be the earliest established Christian church and boasting some extraordinary monasteries, Armenia is also home to a breath-taking landscape.

Georgia, on the other hand, is the land of the Gold Fleece, and lays claim to be the kingdom from which the Ancient Greeks introduced wine-making into Europe. We begin in Tbilisi, from whence we pass into Armenia and on to Yerevan. We travel to Echmiadzin (the so-called Armenian equivalent of the Vatican) and the Geghard Cave Monastery.

Other visits include the beautiful Lake Sevan and Tatev monastery in the land of Eagles. Back in Georgia, we visit Kazbeghi, high in the Caucasus and round off our tour with a day of Georgian wine tasting.

With clients already signed up on the tour, the departure is set at “Guaranteed Departure” status.
