Arajilla Retreat encapsulates the very essence of World Heritage listed Lord Howe Island. It is located at the sheltered northern end of the Island, on Old Settlement Beach. There it nestles under a canopy of Kentia Palms and Banyan Trees.
Arajilla is truly a place for real time out, where you can rest mind, body and soul, free from the clutter of every day life.
Meandering pathways lead through rainforest gardens to the beach, to spacious suites, to the Restaurant and its welcoming guest lounge. The fully inclusive tariff takes away any concern of where to eat, take coffee or tea, sit and chat.
Ten spacious one-bedroom suites have separate living areas and private decks, with Bridget Tyers interior designs skilfully delivering subtle and various ambiences within each and every one.
Two new two-bedroom suites ideal for family and friends, each boast beautifully appointed bathrooms and huge private decks under the giant Banyan Trees. The suites have a serene and restful atmosphere.
All suites feature light and airy rooms, large separate living areas, furnished and styled in warm and pleasing colours, fitted out with everything you may need. The suites are equipped with telephone, bath robes, CD players, beach towels and beach chairs, back packs, TV & DVD players, and guests have access to mountain bikes, snorkelling and light fishing gear as part of the tariff. All meals are included, full breakfast, light lunch, selected pre- dinner drinks, and three course dinners with daily menu changes.
After a day of exploring the island, fish feeding, boating, biking, fishing, surfing or just lazing under a tree, the delights of Arajillas restaurant await. It offers contemporary Australian cuisine at its very best complemented by an exceptional selection of wines.
Arajillas Ayurda Ayurvedic Day Spa is open daily and is located in a Mongolian yurt under the giant banyan trees. The Arajilla Spa Menu is extensive and includes facials, massage, Shirodhara and body treatments.
Arajilla is open all year round.
