APT Launches 2009 Exciting New Australia & New Zealand Brochure

APT

APT has launched its 2009 Australia & New Zealand brochure, with more touring options in New Zealand, massive savings for solo travellers and smaller group tours on all Premier Plus Escorted tours. The brochure also includes an exclusive early bird saving of 100 on all tours of ten days or more, booked before 31st January 2009, as well as plenty of low season discounts.

Gary Bartelings, APTs Director UK, said: We saw an increasing demand from the UK market for more intimate, adventurous touring options which we introduced in 2008. This proved popular, prompting us to build further on our Small Group touring options. Now, all Premier Plus Escorted tours in Australia and New Zealand are limited to only thirty guests. We are also responding to the trend towards solo travelling by offering solo guests a 50% discount on single supplement costs, making the tours more accessible.

The beautifully illustrated brochure has been extended to include new tours, and offers agents and guests a comprehensive explanation of each style of touring; Premier Plus touring, for those seeking to explore in luxury, Premier touring, for the perfect combination of comfort and flexibility, and Affordable Value touring, offering value for money with a group of like-minded travellers. All styles of touring are now led by a Driver and a Tour Director.

Freedom of Choice options enables guests to choose the sightseeing and restaurants that suit their preferences. The new brochure offers expanded Freedom of Choice touring and dining options on all Premier Plus and Premier tours, giving guests a choice of over eighty touring options and forty-five dining options at no extra cost.

APT are offering more touring options in New Zealand and for the first time guests can choose from three meal plans; room only, bed and breakfast, or dinner, bed and breakfast. New 2009 New Zealand tours include the 3-day Bay Of Islands tour, which leaves from Auckland and explores the Bay of Islands, the birth place of the island. The tour is rich in history and culture and perfect for travellers who love all things aquatic. The Premier Plus, escorted tour starts from 535 per person on a room only basis, sharing a twin room.

The Affordable Value, 16-day New Zealand Adventure tour, enables guests to take in the most impressive sights New Zealand has to offer at a relaxed pace. Tour highlights include a two night stay in both Queenstown and Rotorua, a ride on the TranzAlpine train through the Southern Alps, a cruise on Milford Sound and a Hangi feast, the traditional Maori meal. Prices start at 1580 per person twin share, on a room-only basis. The price includes four feature meals. Guests can take advantage of APTs 100 early bird saving if the tour is booked and deposit paid before 31st January 2009.

The 2009 brochure also includes a new, Premier Escorted, 7-day Magical Monkey Mia tour starting in Perth, Western Australia. This new tour is a perfect combination of sunshine, sand and wildlife sightseeing. The tour visits the area of Monkey Mia, which attracts schools of wild dolphins to its shores daily and includes a two night stay at the exclusive Monkey Mia Dolphin Resort, where guests will be treated to a decadent seafood meal in the evening. Other features include a trip to the Coomberdale Wildflower Farm, a stroll along Shell Beach in the town of Denham, and a trip to Kalbarri National Park, home to unique rock structures, flora and wildlife. The tour starts at 1135 on a room-only basis, twin share and includes two feature meals. Guests may like to get a taste of the Kimberley region, arguably the star feature in the soon-to-be launched epic Australia, directed by Baz Luhrmann and starring Nicole Kidman. APT own a number luxury wilderness lodges and camps throughout the Kimberley region, the only luxury accommodation available in the area.

The award winning Bungle Bungle Wilderness Lodge is located in the heart of the Heritage Listed Purnululu National Park, and offers tented cabins with en suite facilities and memorable dining under the stars. The Ungolan Wilderness Lodge in the Mitchell Plateau has just undergone a 500,000 upgrade and is the only permanent accommodation on the isolated Mitchell Plateau. With the cascading Mitchell Falls, and the refreshing water hole of Camp Creek, a stay at the lodge on the tranquil plateau is a must.
