After successfully working at NEXT Hotel Brisbane as executive assistant manager for the past two years, Pankaj moves to the next stage in his career as hotel manager of Sage Hotel James Street, bringing with him over 12 years of industry experience in both India and Australia.

Located in Brisbane trendy's James Street precinct in Fortitude Valley, the hotel will provide 93 guest rooms. Built around the iconic Queens Arms hotel, the hotel seamlessly combines the traditional façade with modern hotel interiors. This newly built hotel features fast, free Wi-Fi on unlimited devices. With multiple onsite food and beverage offerings, extensive event facilities and 24 hour reception services the hotel has everything required for both business and leisure travel.

Situated in the cultural centre of Fortitude Valley, the hotel is ideally located right in the heart of James St,  and in close proximity to the RNA Showgrounds, China Town, Brisbane Powerhouse, Suncorp Stadium and the Brisbane Airport which is only a mere 10 km's away.

Pankaj has worked at several reputable hotels in Australia and India, including NEXT Hotel Brisbane, Mercure Sydney International Airport, Novotel Brisbane, Pullman Reef Hotel Casino, and Taj Mahal Hotel India. He brings to this role an impressive resume with over a decade of experience spanning general management, rooms division & front office operations.

Pankaj was instrumental in assisting Alex Billing (general manager, NEXT Hotel Brisbane) in strengthening the 304-room property's positioning as one of the leading hotels in the region. Notably, NEXT Hotel Brisbane was awarded “2016 Queensland Tourism Award for Deluxe Accommodation” and “Best Redeveloped Hotel in Australia” by AHA.
