The Korea Tourism Organization (KTO), Samsung and SK Telecom have collaborated to provide international visitors to Korea with a free smart phone rental experience under the "Enjoy Mobile Korea For Free" event. What else would you expect from the most connected and technologically advanced country in the world; the official website launch and 'acceptance of applications' started on 15 March 2016.

The event will be held from March 15 until December 31 this year, and travellers who are interested may apply directly at the official website (emk.visitkorea.or.kr). On the website, visitors can find details of the event, application process, associated benefits for selected participants, FAQ, Q&A, as well as, a notice board section for official announcements.

Through a series of screening evaluations, chosen participants will be offered free rental of a Samsung Galaxy Note 5 (limited to five days use) that includes free data, voice calls, incoming calls (international outgoing calls excluded) and SMS messages. In addition, KTO's travel and tourism mobile application (VisitKorea) is also installed to make traveling Korea more convenient for tourists to access useful information such as themed travel, directions, discount vouchers and more.

 Selected participants may collect and return the rental phone at the SK Telecom Roaming Center located at Level 1 of Incheon International Airport.
