Legendary Antiguan cricketer Sir Vivian Richards will be joining the Antigua and Barbuda Tourism Authority stand at this year's World Travel Market (stand number: CA220) to act as the twin island destination's Tourism Ambassador. Sir Vivian Richards will be talking about  his favourite spots and also the country's latest developments including the England vs. West Indies One-Day International Series taking place in Antigua  in February and March 2014 and the first ever Sir Vivian Richards Masters launching in November 2013.

Antigua and Barbuda's Tourism Minister The Honourable John Maginley, along with Antigua and Barbuda Tourism Authority representatives including, CEO Colin James and the UK Antigua and Barbuda Tourism Authority team will be available on the stand to discuss the 2013 achievements and also forthcoming plans for the destination which includes a focus on sports tourism, wedding and honeymoons and family travel.

Increased airlift to the destination will feature high on the agenda with the launch of a new Thomas Cook flight from Manchester starting on 19 December 2013. A long time favourite with honeymooners and couples planning a Caribbean wedding, Antigua and Barbuda has also recently been recognised as the Caribbean's Leading Honeymoon Destination at the 2013 World Travel Awards. This prestigious accolade reaffirms the destination as one of couples' top choices to celebrate this special time in their lives.
