Ansett is returning to our skies servicing the Sydney to Melbourne route with flights commencing at 9am this Saturday.

Sixteen flight are scheduled daily, every hour.

Sydney-Melbourne is the only route at this time but more planes may be added to the initial five-jet service next week to cover more routes.

One-way fares start at $99, $242 and a full economy fare of $296 (+$3.74 noise tax into Sydney Airport). Seats are available until October 31.

The Government is underwriting the cost of tickets for the next 12 weeks which will mean passengers will get a refund if the re-launch deal collapes and flights don't go ahead.

Ansett tickets purchased previously will not be honoured. No Golden Wing or Global Rewards services available. Water will be available on flights but no catering.
