Mad Hatters Afternoon Tea 15 May 2013
Annual Mad Hatter's Tea Party With ENB Returns To The Dorchester For October Half Term

The Dorchester

Dorchester Collection's iconic British hotel The Dorchester will see The Promenade transformed into a Mad Hatter's Tea Party by English National Ballet- England's most creative and most loved ballet company- for children this October Half Term for the sixth year running. This year English National Ballet will be providing an exclusive opportunity for younger guests to dress up in some of its authentic archive costumes amongst iconic set pieces, making the perfect setting for photography to mark the occasion.

From Monday 28 October to Friday 1 November 2013, The Dorchester will be putting on its celebrated Mad Hatter's Afternoon Tea inspired by Lewis Carroll's Alice in Wonderland with entertainment by English National Ballet School's young dancers.  The Mad Hatter, the March Hare, the Dormouse and Alice herself will be found pirouetting, plié-ing and jeté-ing amongst The Promenade tables, stopping to share magical tales with younger guests.

The Mad Hatters Afternoon Tea includes a selection of Alice in Wonderland inspired cakes, pictured above, as well as delicious savoury finger sandwiches, homemade scones and pastries. Accompanying adults will be able to sink back into The Promenade's inviting sofas and enjoy the entertainment with a glass of champagne.

Afternoon tea sittings are at 2.15pm and at 4.45pm, and are priced at £51 per adult including a glass of Champagne and £31 for children aged 5 -11.  (Prices are inclusive of VAT and exclusive of service charge at 12.5%).  For every Mad Hatter's Afternoon Tea that is ordered, £1 will be donated to Cancer Research UK. For reservations or further information, please telephone The Dorchester on +44 (0)20 7629 8888 or email restaurants.TDL@dorchestercollection.com
