Representation Plus are proud to run the Secretariat for two trade associations, the Tourism Society and the Association of National Tourist Offices and Representatives (ANTOR). On their behalf, we would like to announce their recent and upcoming events programmes.
The Tourism Society has embraced the virtual world with its series of virtual events, open to members and non-members. These have served as the perfect opportunity to learn, grow networks and engage. In June the Tourism Society will be holding its final virtual events before going on a 'summer break.'
On 23 June at 1pm the Tourism Society will be welcoming Joshua Ryan-Saha, the Director of Traveltech for Scotland, a business cluster organisation getting behind Scotland's Traveltech pioneers. Joshua also works at the University of Edinburgh where he leads on the application of data-driven innovation for the tourism and festival sectors. You can register for the event here. On 30 June Tourism Society members will also be invited at no cost to a virtual event held by the International Council on Monuments and Sites (ICOMOS) from 12-1pm, focusing on outdoor heritage attractions and how they are developing to attract a non-traditional heritage market.
ANTOR has also held a series of successful virtual events since the world has had to embrace a new norm. Recent events have included a Virtual Travel Trade Market, ANTOR Meets MICE and ANTOR Meets the Media. During these events, stakeholders from various sectors of the industry were able to interact, engage, and catch up with exhibiting ANTOR member destinations on EZY virtual events. EZY has also provided ANTOR with a new virtual office, providing a space for members to network in weekly virtual coffee mornings, often with key industry speakers as guests.
As ANTOR looks toward the future, please save the date for what ANTOR hope will be its first live event of the year - ANTOR Meets the Media on 29 September!
