Join the Christmas Carnival and revel in the joyous spectacle of Executive Pastry Chef Anna Polyviou’s giant gingerbread carousel, festive high tea and treats at Shangri-La Hotel, Sydney, from 29 November 2019 to 5 January 2020.
The Punk Princess of Pastry and her team of elves have worked around the clock to deliver the merriest of sweet art craftsmanship, combining 750 kilos of gingerbread, 300 kilos of lollies and 100 kilos of royal icing.
Life’s a merry-go-round for festive revellers who will delight in the magical carousel’s vintage horses, rotating bauble towers, giant striped candy canes, sparkling reindeer, colourful lights, and a jolly Santa sitting on top of a chimney.
“I love Christmas and I love carnival carousels from my childhood, so I decided to combine both and create the most epic gingerbread carousel, Christmas Carnival and festive high tea that Sydney has ever seen,” Polyviou said.
