Angelini Italian restaurant at Kowloon Shangri-La, Hong Kong will stage an exclusive wine dinner on 26 June 2009 featuring world-class wines by Marchesi Antinori, which has over a 600-year history in Italy. Guests will have the opportunity to indulge in Antinori�s flagship wine, Solaia, and enjoy a welcome sparkling wine, Montenisa Brut Spumante Franciacorta NV.
To highlight this special occasion, Angelini Chef Vittorio Lucariello has prepared a four course dinner menu to delight the discerning palate. The feast will begin with Crispy Oyster with Almond Flour on Blue Fin Tuna Tartar, Cucumber Salad and Flat Bread complemented with Antinori Cervaro della Sala 2006, followed by Home-made Ravioli with White Tuscan Beans, Red Sardinian Shrimps and Pancetta, which will be perfectly matched with Brunello di Montalcino Pian Delle Vigne 2003. The Rolled Beef Rib Eye with Pine Nuts, Raisins and Celery Root Cake, Tomato and Dry Sicilian Oregano Sauce will be accompanied with Solaia 1989 and Tignanello IGT 2006. To provide guests with a sweet finish, Lemon Sabayon with Cherries, Italian Meringue and Puff Pastry will be paired with Prunotto Moscato d�Asti 2007.
The wine dinner is priced at only HK$1,380 plus 10 per cent service charge per person.
