Anantara Rasananda Koh Phangan Villa Resort & Spa has taken out two five star awards at this year's International Hotel Awards.

The International Hotel Awards recognises hotels and hospitality-related companies that are the best of the best in the luxury hotel industry. Entries from more than 50 countries across Asia Pacific, Europe, the Americas, Arabia, Africa and the UK were judged by a prestigious panel chaired by the esteemed Sir David Michels, who is a retired Chief Executive of the Hilton Group, and who is currently President of both the Tourism Alliance and Institute of Hospitality.

Shining as a luxury hotel star amidst stiff competition, Anantara Rasananda took out both a Five Star Resort Hotel and Five Star Spa Hotel award for Thailand. The accolades were announced at a gala presentation dinner at the London Marriott Hotel Grosvenor Square last Monday 26th January 2015.
